Sarah Rose

Rose Women’s Choir founder, Sarah Rose, is the nonprofit organization’s Executive and Artistic Director. She works closely with the board and Operations Director, as both leader and teammate, to fulfill the organization’s shared vision, mission, and voice within the community. As conductor, Rose currently works with two choirs each week: our 50+ women’s choir, and our smaller jazz choir, The Rosettes. 

Rose is also a well-established, educated, and experienced voice and piano instructor in the Eugene, Oregon area.  In addition, Sarah is also a bandleader, composer and arranger; performing as a vocalist and collaborating with other musicians in both jazz and classical settings. Rose graduated from Cornish College of the Arts and received the Downbeat Magazine award for vocalist of the year three times.

We are so excited to share that Sarah was recently awarded Eugene/Springfield's 20 Under 40 Rising Buisiness Stars. The 20 under 40 awards recognize 20 rising stars committed to career excellence and have engaged in making Eugene/Springfield a better place. We are so proud of Sarah and the commitments she makes every day to this community both muscal and otherwise.
